Linseed Art Academy

Lead Instructor

Keri Kriston | Artist | Painter

Hi there! Welcome to Linseed Art Academy. See that person below in the blue shirt painting square after square? That's me! My name is Keri Kriston, a life long artist and painter. For as far back as I can remember I always had this urge to make, and create. As I grew up life took me down one creative path to the next. For me, art isn't just a hobby it's a way of life. It's a way to pass the time, express feelings and ideas that can't be articulated in any other way, a way to explore my inner most self. If you're here I'm guessing this rings true for you too. We artists have this voice inside us that must be addressed. We need to give it a way to let itself out.

I started Linseed Art Academy as a way to give back to my fellow artists, both emerging and established of all backgrounds and abilities. We learn and grow best when we have a second set of eyes on our work. Fellow artists help us to see where we're stuck, teach us new tips and tricks, and share new and exciting insights. I look forward to sharing my experience with you and learning a new thing or two myself. Let's get painting!

At LAA we are committed to creating flexible learning environments and lessons for all community members with respect to sex, gender expression or identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability, age veteran status, class, neurodivergent traits, and national or ethnic origin. We believe art should be available to all! Please let us know how we can best accommodate you or your budding artist to create the best learning experience possible.
